Power cables are critical for the reliability of a power distribution program. Electrical cable failure is a common issue across various industries. Such failures can lead to significant problems, including operational disruptions and safety risks. Many factors, including cable service life, loss of cable sheath, physical damage, heat, and more, can cause these problems and will be discussed in the course.

In this session, Ben Lanz will present the critical components of managing a cable distribution system, including cable types, common problems, and testing and maintaining your cables.

This course is designed to equip the person responsible for cable purchase and management with the necessary knowledge to run a reliable cable maintenance program.
